Submariner Sinclair by John Wingate

Written in 1959 and republished in 2021, this is a fictional book about a British submarine commander in WWII.

The old fashioned language and descriptions took a little getting used to and the big mission was unbelievable.

The description about a depth charge attack was extremely well written and descriptive.

Overall, though, I was all at sea reading this book and felt readers need to have served in the navy to understand or enjoy Submarine Sinclair. Just didn’t work for me.
