The Gods of Guilt by Michael Connelly

Can’t go wrong with a (Michael) Connelly

I do enjoy a good courtroom drama and especially when the author is Michael Connolly; a writer who can deliver a set up, unravel the strands and takes the reader on a thrilling journey of suspense, mystery and intrigue.

I’ve read and enjoyed the Bosch books for many years but haven’t been so invested in others by Connolly. I knew they were there just not had the inclination to read.

The story starts with a man accused of murder of a prostitute. Our hero, Mickey Haller, discovers he represented the victim a few years before. Then we’re off on the story rollercoaster.

The ending was intriguing only because the gift wasn’t wrapped if you get my meaning and the reader has to work for it. Quality read.
