After being impressed with Olsen‘s The Sound of Rain, I took on The Weight of Silence in the anticipation I was going to have the same level of reading enjoyment.
The second in the homicide detective Nicole Foster series, this wasn’t a bad read but the harking back to Book 1 was tiresome after a while. Implausibility limits were pushed, and the ending was disappointing and I decided this was a series stopper for me.
